Picnic Backpack For Romance With Ease

Think about the last time you had a romantic little picnic with your sweetheart. Come on, even you married folks. A picnic is a very romantic gesture. Two people, all alone, are walking together in the woods, carrying a little basket with their lunch and utensils in it. The only problem with this picture is the basket. Some of them are wicked and they were designed for the days when men wore long pants all the time. They not only pull your arm out of socket, the scratch you like some crazy cat. Surely, there has to be a better way.

There is a way to save this romantic outing, a picnic backpack. No more feeling like your arm is falling off from carrying the picnic basket, because a backpack is designed to carry all day. My hero!

Backpacks have been popular for at least the last 30 years. From kindergarten through college, students carry their books back and forth in a backpack. First used in the military and then by hikers, backpacks allow a person to carry a larger load easier than holding that same load to the side or in front of you.

Now think of putting all your picnic gear in a backpack where there is a pocket or strap for each plate, cup, fork and knife. In addition, think of an insulated backpack that allows you to put an icepack inside and keep your food cool and free of bacteria or food poisoning until that picnic. Does that not sound like a great idea?

Picnic backpacks are lightweight insulated fabric. The lining is waterproof so that any spills will be contained within the pack. They are not only great for that romantic walk in the woods, but for a trip to the beach with the family. Why not pack one for your next road trip. You know that you can eat much healthier with food that you pack than when you stop for fast food.

You can find picnic backpacks at many stores in the sporting goods section. For an even better selection, try shopping on line. You can find your favorite color as well as a place serving just right for your family.

Not only do picnic backpacks have an advantage over a picnic basket, they are a much better choice than an ice chest. Which would you rather carry? Would you prefer a backpack that fits over your shoulders or an ice chest with two handles? Most people would choose the backpack. Everything you need for a picnic lunch is neatly packed inside. The napkins and tablecloth are kept dry. What else could you ask for?
